New Album Progress
Today, I recorded vocals for a song that will appear on my upcoming album, 'Until Hell Freezes Ever Over'. When it is done, I will release it as a single, only on Bandcamp, as a teaser for the album.
The song is called, 'Both Too Small'. It’s about my son growing into a man over the years. It took me thirteen years to finish the song because, when I started it, he had not grown enough for the song to make sense. Because of that, the words to finish it just would not come to me. I nearly forgot about it until I searched my drive for unfinished songs to include in the new album. It’s a 'Cat’s In The Cradle' kind of song but from the perspective of a parent’s pride in watching your child grow and move on their plans.
I will soon be creating the graphics for the album cover. This album feels like it is taking longer than the last two. In a way, it is because of all the craziness in the world and how I have struggled recently to keep it from pushing me down. I'm finally moving forward and hope you will all continue to move forward with me on this journey.
